MamaRise

Privacy Policy

Effective 11 October 2026

MamaRise is a postpartum recovery app operated by AIBL SOFTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, your health profile and check-ins are optional and under your control, we never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising.

What we collect

DataWhy
Email addressYour account sign-in, and account emails such as a password-reset link. We don’t send marketing email.
Delivery details (how you gave birth, your baby’s birth date, and any optional details you add such as a VBAC, an assisted delivery or a significant tear)Personalising your recovery stage — this decides which exercises the app considers safe for you and when.
Health profile & symptom check-ins (optional, consent-gated)Adapting sessions to how you feel and applying safety checks. Collected only after you give explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Workout sessions, streaks and badgesYour history and progress inside the app.
Subscription statusKnowing whether you have MamaRise Pro. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.
Usage statistics (not linked to your name or email, on by default, can be turned off)Understanding how the app is used and where it gets in the way, so we can improve it. Google Analytics for Firebase records which screens you view and which buttons you tap; how far you get through onboarding; whether a workout is started, finished or stopped early, with its rough length or how far through it you got in broad bands; when you open the subscription screen and tap a plan or restore; whether reminders are on or off; and your subscription status (Pro yes or no). It also records your app version, device model, iOS version, approximate country and city (worked out from your IP address), an app-instance identifier and, if you subscribe, the purchase event. It never receives your health answers, check-ins or programme content, your delivery details, or anything you type.
Crash and error reports (not linked to your name or email)Diagnosing and fixing crashes and failures. Firebase Crashlytics records device and app state at the moment of a crash, and when something fails (for example a save or a purchase) it records which step failed and the error code. A report never holds your email, your health answers or anything you type. Crash and error reports are separate from usage statistics, so the usage-stats switch doesn’t turn them off.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any advertising identifier (the app never asks to track you), and the app contains no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off for our usage statistics.

Health data and your consent

Your health profile and daily check-ins are special-category data under UK and EU data protection law. The app asks for your explicit consent before storing them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time in Settings → Withdraw consent & delete health data — doing so deletes your health profile and all symptom check-ins from our servers. The rest of the app keeps working without them.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication and database) in the London (europe-west2) region. We also use Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics), Firebase Crashlytics (crash and error reports) and RevenueCat (subscription status). These providers process data on our behalf under their own data-processing agreements; none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Your rights and controls

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, enrollments, sessions and check-ins are deleted from our systems. Usage statistics are kept for 14 months, and crash and error records for Google’s standard limited period; neither is tied to your account.

Children

MamaRise is for adults recovering after birth and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update this page and note the new effective date above.
